vegachavez Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Can someone please list the order or a short outline as to how to locate the enemy in campaign mode. PLEASE! THX.
SmokeyTheLung Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 (edited) turn on labels...or patiently and methodically search the waypoints in your target area. They're bound to start shooting at you eventually. the latter being far more satisfying Edited March 1, 2011 by SmokeyTheLung System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer
vegachavez Posted March 1, 2011 Author Posted March 1, 2011 To turn on labels you have to be in game mode...what fun is that?
Lonecrow66 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 No you dont have to be in game mode.. I have everything in simulation mode except the labels.. which you can turn on and off with left shift F10 --- May your takeoffs equal your landings!
Lonecrow66 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Read up on JTAC - watch some you tube videos on it. Basically some ground units near the fight usually radio you hit targets and will (when working) uplink a data point to your tads. So you basically set up a SPI at the mark they give you and then use your TGP to search that area. --- May your takeoffs equal your landings!
kingpinda Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 (edited) Off Topic: Sorry Lone crow but i have been staring so long at your signature by now... Shouldnt your sig be the other way around? since landings are more difficult? edit: Bugger I just got it... its not the manner in which you land just THAT you land lol. disregard. ps on topic I have no difficulty finding enemies in campaign missions. problem is they ussually see me first.... :/ and yeah use JTAC that helps heaps. StrongHarm Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I've received very good feedback on the methods outlined in this post http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1106259 It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
