bmbpdk Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Hi all, i had some time to spare today, and put this pdf/overview together, to give a quick overview of the different russian air defence system in the game DCS A-10c. Ill hope it will help you guys/girls to have the proper tactic ready for dealing with those beast. I personally think that Russia are the leader and master of Air Defence systems, perhpas because the USA is the leader and master of Air Power :) Any suggestions are welcome http://www.mediafire.com/?fc1gi6ccjy18e 1 Inno3d RTX 2070 Twin X2, ASUS STRIX Z270E Gaming, Intel i7 7700K, 32GB Corsair vengeance, Kingston Hyper X FPS Alloy Cherry MX Red, Logitech G102 Prodigy, Track Ir 5, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder pedals, Beyer Dynamic DT770, Acer CB280HK 4K monitor, Win 10 Pro 64bit
Speed Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) Not bad at all! I like it alot! However, I see a few issues: SA-11: NATO reporting name: Gadfly SA-11 radar, NATO reporting name: Snow Drift SA-11 can shoot you down to way less than 100 feet, I found out myself. SA-18 is included in the game, not SA-24, it's NATO reporting name is Grouse One other thing I see is that you state the SA-15's max altitude is 6000 meters; this was changed in one of the betas and it can now kill you up to like, 9000 meters :( I'm pretty sure it's the SA-10 that's modelled, not the SA-20, so the reporting name for that is "Grumble" Edited March 9, 2011 by Speed Intelligent discourse can only begin with the honest admission of your own fallibility. bmbpdk Posted March 9, 2011 Author Posted March 9, 2011 thanks for the correction, ive used data and specs from the russian version of "janes" (The international defence encyclopedia), there website is warfare.ru but i guess i need to correct the specs as they are in-game and not as in real life :) Inno3d RTX 2070 Twin X2, ASUS STRIX Z270E Gaming, Intel i7 7700K, 32GB Corsair vengeance, Kingston Hyper X FPS Alloy Cherry MX Red, Logitech G102 Prodigy, Track Ir 5, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder pedals, Beyer Dynamic DT770, Acer CB280HK 4K monitor, Win 10 Pro 64bit
Jinja Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I like it too, nice and compact for A5 printing / quick reference. 1 suggestion, I'd like to see the RWR warning indicator for each. i7@3.5Ghz, ATI 5870, 16GB RAM, win7 64bit, TH2GO, Track-IR, 4screen pit, TM WArthog HOTAS
