Diveplanes Audio work for Final Version?

Does anyone know if this

from LockOn files will work properly with the Final and recently patched new version? thanks all.

Well i`ll be honest and say that i am using it but actually have seen little if any, major differences to the original. FWIW, stay with stock i think?

The only difference that I noticed with Diveplane's sound mod was in external views..i.e.F3 flyby sound.

Sadley I'm in agreement.

 

Don't get me wrong, I not only fully support Diveplane and his Mods, but have no doubt that they are of the very best available and of extremely high standard.

 

The Diveplane mod for FC2.0 was like: 'OMFG!' - instantly recognisable. But, with DCS: A-10C not the case. Undoubtedly there are more changes that he has made than we are probably giving credit for, i know he works tirelessly, and it may well be simply the noise of the opening chute, that to you and i only lasts for 1.5 seconds, but for him was probably a few days work.

 

So, In summary, By virtue of the fact that it has Diveplanes name all over it as one of his mods, gives it instant credence (IMHO), but I feel that this particular package is not 'obviously' that much of a change from stock; which ironically, isn't that bad at all! Infact............it's pretty darn good.

 

Result, uninstalled.

Please remember that the sound is permanently in work now - sound engine and samples and sound handling in the code, so some his samples can become useless or sound wrong very probably.
