The problem with the first set training videos "Fighter Weapons School" is the following: The voice on the radio & the training text are completely out of sync One cannot pause the training mission inspite of pressing the Pause/Break key One cannot take control of the aircraft & practice the given training mission LOMAC is so much better in this aspect although its not without its own set of unique issues. As such, of course you can't take control of the plane or pause the video using the Pause/Break key. mig29 Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 @JSF: You can pause the training videos by the "spacebar" key (if I remember correctly). You can also go back and forward as desired by clicking the progress bar with your mouse. Watch all the videos carefully. Then watch training videos made by Ironhand @ http://www.flankertraining.com/ After that build some sample missions with the mission editor and get acquainted with the sim. Then you may start the offline campaigns. After that you may try yourself out in the ultimate arena - the multiplayer mode (where you will go against some eagle/flanker/fulcrum veterans). FC2 is an add-on to Lomac, and not a complete package (although it's self-sufficient). People are expected to have prior experience of Lomac. A lot of stuff goes behind the scene at ED. A lot of maths and a lot of physics powers the best modern air combat simulator. And all this for only $30. So I will cut them some slack :D. Edited March 8, 2011 by mig29 fixed typo.

Elementary and basic? The reason they were made into videos is that things are not so basic. When you update one section of the simulation code, something in the track playback gets broken. Not so basic. Welcome to the wonderful world of complex PC Flight simulations. I suggest you take a positive attitude and you will get all the help you need here.
