RIZLAHQ Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Just been having a play with the sound files within the sim and found this under file:///C:/Program%20Files/Eagle%20Dynamics/DCS%20A-10C/Sounds/Speech/Sound/ENG/JTAC/Weapon/ AGM-130 now i may be wrong but why would ED include this then the A-10c does not carry it. Wikiedia puts it on the F-15E AXQ-14 data link looks like it could be intresting and i was hoping for an f-18 with a working carrier

There still needs to be sounds for these. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 6 Monitors, 5 Video Cards, 90inch Flat Screen, Intel Bad Ass 2 @ 72.6Ghz, Atari Hotas!!!
Wolverine Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 and i was hoping for an f-18 with a working carrier  Unless the docs that ED need from the navy (A1-F18AE-TAC-010 to be exact) have been declassified or EDs strict realism standards have fallen I wouldn't be holding my breath for an F/A-18 or any other US navy aircraft for that matter. Though if something has slipped under my radar since then on this topic do please enlighten me. Source Since Wags was quoted that the next release would be a US fixed wing aircraft it would be my understanding that the next DCS module would be the F-16 since the newer 3d model was posted here about a year ago (with the AH-64A cockpit model) and because they have all the documentation they need for it. That's a five-year-old post you're citing, so there's hope. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
