You can go the easy way or the advanced way, as I call it: it depends on your preference and proficiency. Nomdeplume gave you a link for what I see as a advanced method of inputing coordinates directly on the CDU. It is good once you understand the military grid reference system (MGRS) and when the link from JTAc is not available on the mission or not working due to some bugs. Apart from that, the easy way, which is a feature not a cheat, is as follows: 1) Set frequency to JTAC radio; 2) Check in; 3) Copy and receive 9 -line; And after that, this is where most of people get lost. 4) Go back to JTAC radio menu and choose 9 - line readback; Talk the readback; 5) You will receive a message in the data link and a red triangle will appear on the TAD page; 6) Click WILCO on the OSB 19 on the TAD page; 7) Hook the Red Triangle with TMS Up Short and then make it your SPI with TMS UP Long; 8) Slave all to SPI with China Hat Forward Long; 9) Ckeck in the TGP if the target is the one desired; 10) Change to MAV page; 11) Send MAVs as needed :D. Actually, steps 8-10 are not necessary, once you've given the JTAC message via datalink, you are good to go. Only keep in mind that you must respect what the JTAC asks you, if he says MAVs, then it is MAVs, not cannon, etc. A good trick is to maintain the cannon on SAFE while doing this, because it avoids unnecessary or accidental shooting. Otherwise you'll be reprimanded (receiving the infamous "Abort!Abort! Abort!" message). Edited March 19, 2011 by RodBorza This is an amazing sim! 'Nuff said!:pilotfly: YouTube: SloppyDog
