Looney Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Hello all, After installing DCS BS I've reassigned the axis to make the sim flyable (as collective is defaulted on the cyclic for some reason) and tried to fly the helicopter. No problems so far but when I tried to brake using the toe brakes of the pedals, my helicopter does belly-flops on the ground, initiating its own destruction and making it very hard to fly :) So I did some bug hunting and found that when I tap the toe brake, the game sees a control input of full cyclic left or right, depending on which toe brake you use, making your helicopter do "funny things".. I was wondering if someone else has seen this problem and got a remedy, I will try to see if I can assign the B and Lshift B keys to the toe-brakes to make braking and stopping the bird on the runway possible without acrobatics. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Commodore 64 | MOS6510 | VIC-II | SID6581 | DD 1541 | KCS Power Cartridge | 64Kb | 32Kb external | Arcade Turbo
Succellus Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I had thisd duplicated axis assignement in DCS A10 when i plugged in my Saikek too, so i did an extra check on axis config to eliminate duplicated assignements on a single axis. WynnTTr Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 It's best to completely clear everything under your Saitek heading as some games map throttle or whatnot to them. Then just remap what you need - that's usually quick and painless as the only functions for rudders is yaw and wheel brake.
bumfire Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 As others have said, go into your axis assigngment page, delete the settings for your saitek pedals, delete/clear the ones that are on the cyclic line and then remap them to whatever you need them to be. 1
