Salutations.

I've got my HOTAS Warthog coming in next week, and I want to make sure everthing is ready to minimize any hassle when I finally get to install it, and so have some questions:

1- Does the throttle plug into the PC directly, or does it plug in the stick which then plugs into the PC (or vice versa)?

I ask because I will likely shuffle my USB plug around so I can easily swap my MSFFB2 stick (for WW2 and DCS Black Shark, where I find Force Feedback to be indispensable), and it'd be nice if I can keep using the throttle (not that I'm hopeful).

Either way, I'd like to know in advance to fix up my wiring properly.

2- Just where is that friction wheel that isn't mapped in A-10C? The one people recommend should be used for zooming.

3- Are there any patches or software updates from TM I should download and install before plugging in the HOTAS, or is the software included in the package sufficient?

Thank you.

You download the latest software and the latest update for your WH

The friction wheel is in the middle of the right side of your WH

Very well, thank you. And can the throttle be used independently, or must it always be used with the stick plugged in?
