x52 or Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick

I am getting LOFC2 and in the near future DCS A10C. Would like recommendations on 2 joystics I am looking at, the X52 and TM T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick. Cost and realism are factors. The TM is almost half the price of the X52. Any thought, comments or other suggestions for a device are greatly appreciated.

I would opt for the X52. I have heard good things about the t-flight, but I can't really comment on that respect. I used to own the x52 for a couple of years, and apart from a couple of faults (well known: rudder pot was screwed up after 2 months, but that was ok since I had pedals).

I know nothing about the T-Flight so I cant comment on that. But I will say I've had my X-52 for about 3yrs now, and it still works as good as the day I got it. The rotary's on the throttle are almost useless and the stick is a little loose.

Other than that I'd recomend the X-52 any day

Thanks for all your suggestions. I just purchased the X52 with Track IR from amazon. Both should be here by the weekend. Cannot wait.

Good decision! You will now wonder why for god's sake you haven't gotten the trackir sooner :D You won't fly without it any more :)

the next day or 2 they will be here. I also fly for a virtual airline in FSX and always use the virtual cockpit in my planes...not sure why I did wait this long to get TrackIR-5.
