ScEBlack1 Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 When I go to the 2nd page of Status and scroll down to throttle to change the slew speed and hit say #6 on the UFC and then the osb next to slew it does nothing? is there an order to this? same thisng with mav slew speed, can someone explain the proper step.
Bahger Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 You have to enter a numerical value from the UFC. So, go STAT/PAGE 2, scroll to Stick or Throttle slew entry fields, enter the numerical value you want into the scratchpad at the bottom of your HUD and then hit the key to input it into the STAT page. FWIW, I use 2 for Mavericks, default 5 is much too twitchy.

I thought the input on the UFC would be 06 instead of 6, then hit the OSB for the slew speed. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Is that you John Wayne?.......Is this me?" nomdeplume Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 (edited) Single digits are fine. I normally use somewhere between 6 and 8 for the throttle slew rate. You can enter decimals as well, e.g. 7.5 Note that for the throttle slew higher numbers are slower, while for the Mav lower numbers are slower. Edited March 26, 2011 by nomdeplume
ScEBlack1 Posted March 26, 2011 Author Posted March 26, 2011 I am entering a numerical number, but, maybe like Warrior said I need to enter a 0 first?
nomdeplume Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 As I alluded to, I've never used a leading 0. Attached is two screenshots showing the sequence. You can see the scratchpad on the HUD in the first image. Then I clicked the OSB for which the tooltip is displaying, and took the second screenshot.
WarriorX Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I was not sure...so listen to nomdeplume, he is on the ball. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Is that you John Wayne?.......Is this me?" Bahger Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Note that for the throttle slew higher numbers are slower, while for the Mav lower numbers are slower. Now that is really good to know, as my TAD cursor has been much too twitchy and inputting lower numbers down to 0.25 hasn't helped. Thank you. (Mavericks work the other way, it seems...)
