Is there anyway to begin a mission on top of an Aircraft Carrier using the mission editor. In my mission i would like to start on ther Carrier, do a quick bombing run then land back on the aircraft Carrier. I'm brand new to LOMAC and am struggling to learn the mission editor. Any tips would be appreciated.

Their are ways of doing it but 99% of the time it is a fail. I tryed it for 3 weaks and only had 1 successful mission to start on a deck. And even with that it was 50 50 chance that it would work. You have to spawn in a plain at 0 speed and just above the deck. Most of the time when you get in the plain it drops and brakes the gear. Landing is another problem all together. FC2 only supports the SU-33 for carier ops.

In the mission editor, place a Kuznetsov carrier. Then place a Su-33 set to take off from ramp on the carrier. Done. I am not sure there are any bugs using the Su-33 on the carrier like you say Cat. It has been used on our server for example the day FC2 came out.

FYI: the VNAO (Virtual Naval Air Operations) mod allows carrier ops from CVN-70 Carl Vinson. Unfortunately this mod is incompatible with many Integrity Checked servers - it is useful to make a 'parallel' copy of your LockOn install and install the mod into that parallel directory.

Get the VNAO mod from the "Mods" section at the following page:

Absolutely right. It works like it should. And setting "takeoff from runway" also works just fine.
