it's a decent all in one (hotas and rudder) and the force feedback is ok...But to be honest at this point I can't say I'd recommend it over another system. Logitech has really dropped the ball on drivers and firmware for the system, it's going on a year since the last update and there are a couple of BIG problems with the system at this point. I'm actually looking to upgrade to the Warthog soon, only problem is they don't come with rudder pedals...

So honestly, if you have the money I'd go Warthog and get some pedals to go with it...

Bought the Warthog.

Haven't looked back.

It was bloody awful in my opinion, but you spends your money and you takes your chances. Also like BigDog says don't expect much help from Logitech, in this case they were less worse than useless.

X65F's are relatively cheap now that the Warthog is available. It's also a great HOTAS. The only reason the Warthog surpasses it in DCS A10 at the moment is the native compatibility with the game. I have both and rate them even stevens overall.

With the price of ammunition these days do not expect a warning shot.

Ok , gents, i decided to save some more and go for the X-65.

I already have the CH-Pro pedals, so it should be no problem.

Anyways, was fiddling around a little, and? Guess what?

What!!? My good old Suncom SFS Combo works!!!!

Yes , sirs.

Dual throttle works like a charm.I only need an extra

keyboard to program the slots.PS/2, since the whole system is hooked to that connection

at my pc.

It saves me alot and flies perfect as well.

I keep y'all informed of things.

Thanks again for all the tips and advices.............:)

I use this device to connect the Suncom SFS Combo:

U need some recalibrating with it and an additional keyboard passthrough for programming the keys.

It'll be recognized in Windows as an usb adaptor.

Running at Windows 7 Professional x64.

+1 here. Same situation. X-52 is a good starter, G940 was pretty good, but now that I have settled into my HAWG, there's no looking back.

Also, I do miss *somewhat* the G940's FFB for IL-2, but not enough with the precision that my TM has.

This is the only HOTAS that I've had where I am not worrying about the HOTAS, I'm flying and enjoying it.

If worse comes to worst, buy a G940 from Amazon.com; if you don't like it, they're pretty much like Wal-Mart when it comes to returns.

Really, if you can save the extra, just get the Warthog, update the firmware, get a powered USB hub (do some research) and never look back.

Rgr, thanks for the advice.

I managed to get my good ol Suncom SFS Combo working again.

I have the SFS throttle and F-15E Talon stick.

With a gameport to usb adaptor.

This one:

Am doing severe tests with it now and so far all is looking very promising.

I think i can say i saved money, cos this one still goes strong.

Dual throttle works like a charm. All buttons are programmable as well.

I even have the trim axis working..........:)

All and all a nice and cool setup.

Later i'll post some images of it.

Here is a link to a site of the SFS Combo:

Thank y'all for the advices.........much appreciated.
