Codex Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Hi I'm in the first mission of Devil's cross and every things going fine, got the 9 line, SPI a Zeus and give it to my wingman to attack with Mavs, just like Wags movie. The problem is the wingman flies in and launches from a range of about 2.5 miles, then gets shot down, can I do something to extend the range?
mtuckner Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I hate that they drive in so dang close to fire their mavs off. I don't know if there is much you can do about this. The Zeus shouldn't be a problem, so maybe there is something else that eats him up.
Codex Posted April 10, 2011 Author Posted April 10, 2011 Just did a test. I set up a mission against an SA8, this time he launched from a much greater distance. It seems to depend on what the threat is.

Codex Posted April 12, 2011 Author Posted April 12, 2011 It seemed to work, wingman launched all he's Mavs against ground threats at long range. I just couldn't get him to attack the armour with his dumb bombs, just got a rejoining message. Anyway thanks Tigerrr
