Just bought a 3.5 inch monitor off fleabay and modified my panel.

Just been trying a few different methods of making a Typhoon Manual Data-Entry Facility (MDEF) shown above. The local CNC shop isnt interested in cutting my sketchup designs.

I tried to cut plywood but its too fragile to make square holes for the buttons so get this, I printed the sketchup 2d file and cut out all the button holes and laminated it. I then laminated it again and again turning the machine up hotter each time. I ended up with a pretty solid piece of platic I could cut with a blade!

Will post pictures, I dont think I will be using it though, im getting one of those multi tools for cristmas so hopefully I can use that to tidy up a 3mm plastic sheet i managed to drill and jigsaw.

Just thought I'd throw mine in here.

This is my out town portable sim stand. I rent houses for 6 to 7 months at a time to build gas stations out of town. Usually only go home on weekends and holidays and I like to spend that time with the family. So my rental house is my MAN CAVE!!

I like being able to experiment when out of town so I don't have to hear my wife complain about how bad something looks in the front office...lol.

The chair was the best find. Have been looking forever for a chair to use that didn't have arms in my way. Found this one at Staples but when I saw the $230 price tag I was disappointed but when I looked on there website it was on sale for $129. I nearly ran to the front counter hoping they had one in stock. Needless to say I went home with my new flight sim seat. What I love about it is I can adjust it to any angle and leave it there because it doesn't require the arms to support it. I Just left those off. the best part it's comfortable as hell. Not like all those game chairs I've sat in that felt like you where in a chair that was meant for preschoolers digging into your sides.

The wife doesn't know about the 49" 2160 4KUHD TV that I'm using for a monitor yet...

nice project!

Thanks. I've made some modifications since these photos. Knees kept hitting wood at shins so I cut out some more wood to allow more room for my knees.

Also built the backboard big enough to add some more controllers as soon as I figure what I want.

I hate always having to do keyboard combinations in the middle of trying to fly. Want something like the Koolertron for basic macros.

Would you happen to know why it won't let me put my pictures in using the web addresses shown?

I think I have to create a shared folder within Google for anybody to see them.

Have to try later once work around the house is done.
