I investigate some from georgian IAS, in that first post I investigate two airports, UGKO — KUTAISI/Kopitnari military/civilian airport and UGSB Batumi

 

First I see the Eurocontrol Information Data: UGKO KUTAISI

UGKO KUTAISI

Some interesting, airport info only show civilian zone, aproach, DME/VOR landing and services, DME/VOR landing procedure and Frequencies. In Google Earth (42°10'30.91"N 42°29'3.47"W) has only show some Hangars, no HAS, and great quantity of revenants for military aircraft's and air-planes. Some bombs impacts, for the 2010 Russian-Georgian war.

 

 

The civilian terminal and aprons has located in the NW corner of the airport and very quantity of empty land.

 

 

On DCS: A-10C, The cilivilian apron only can maintaining 2 C-130 tipe air plane, and the AI move by phantom routes, to Take off. On Landing, that C-130 randomize move, or block them or deploy on them.

I start a mission on the UGKO airport, run the engines and go to sintonice (477) NDB and (113.6) VOR, but, only TACAN and ILS nav has available. Manual no show that procedures.

 

UGSB BATUMI

Otherwise. Batumi airport has custom scenery, match with the real, but some "extra" taxiwais" appears.

Some interesting, Batumi has SID and STAR procedure, i make a mission with 3 Yak-40 take of for the airport (real airport can hold more air planes). The Yaks, take off and take AI war planes manoeuvres, violate Standard Instrumental Departure. Otherwise, the Yaks return to the airport and not make Standard IFR Arrival, only a VFR and ¿ILS? landing. Yak not maintain PAPI procedure. When that landing, only two air planes can hold on apron. when thirst yak aproach taxi, others two "disappears". I not check the Batumi VOR / NDB.
