You'll be able to review the mission briefing in flight (much like single player now) in the upcoming patch. Changing controls while the 3D executable is running? I quite doubt it this decade. It's a shame but once you get them set by trial and error you're golden for 1000 hours more.

 

If you're looking up airfield frequencies try the F10 map and click on the airbase icon for their frequency.

Hassata & Frederf, thanks for the info. At the moment the scale of the game is still a bit overpowering and while i do look for this info via F10 a RCONTR + F11 or something for mission briefing would be much appreciated. I love this game.
