New 120mhz monitor. Terrible screen flicker with BS

Hi All,

 

Just got my hands on a 120mhz monitor. Every other game/sim i have runs great.

 

Black Shark has a very annoying screen flicker though.

 

Any ideas

Maybe check if Windows is driving it at 120Hz. Pretty sure it defaults to 60Hz untill you set it to the proper value. I'm guessing BS will use what is set for the desktop.

 

Also, is this a CRT monitor? LCD shouldn't flicker at all, regardless of refresh rate.

Ok, found the culprit. In CCC had a check box ticked next to 'Reduce DVI frequency on High Resolution displays' and 'Alternate DVI Operational Mode'. Unchecked both options and its back to normal.
