New Su-25 template

There are many good templates in Lock-On for all flyables planes except the Su-25. This is my favorite aircraft so i've decided to make a high res template with correct panel lines, riveting, and weathering.

 

After 40 hour of work approximately 35% is ready:

 

Done:

-Rear section panel lines and riveting

-Mid section panel lines and riveting

-Half of the nose section lines and riveting

 

Left:

-Wings panel lines and riveting

-The othe half of the nose section lines and riveting

-Weatherenig

-Labels

 

I hope i can update the state soon :)

I think you have started the rivets to early, the rivets start just fore of the exhausts and carry through to the tail.

 

Ive double checked my Frogfoot book and im sure of it.

 

Ive also made a very detailed template in 2048 pixels last year.

But i think the rivets are ok.

I agree, most of the drawings are not include smaller rivest but this drawing does.

In this state of the work all the rivets and the panel lines have the same size.

Of course i will separate the large rivets and the small rivets so you will see the smaller ones just from very close, like on the Su-25T.

 

P.S.:

I newer know there was another template for the Su-25 beside Oxyds one.

Swu tried to make the template too, but he didn't plan make such seriously detailed one. And he can't finish the template because he very busy on his work. But what he wanted to say in second post - :confused: Maybe, he wanted to to express one's thanks and respect Mechanist if he will finish this work. :) :)

Just a little update. Not much but i have to check out other things in the last few weeks.

OMG It looks fanstastic. Seems you are very dedicated to work with single pixels. The connections of textures where diffrent 3dshapes come together are very nice! I can't spot missallignments. I've used OXYD template for Su-25, that I've found very good as well. So you took a challange to make a better one. Wish you luck! Keep up the good work.

Don't worry guys! The project is still alive! Unfortunately in the last month i have no time to continue the work but the next month will be lighter ,so i can go on with the project.
