Eihort Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 I've been messing with this now for a few hours and for the life of me I have no idea what's going on. I'm about ready to throw heavy objects. Played FC2 just dandy, no problems what so ever. Even got an A10 HOTAS from Thrustmaster. Just got a new 32" HDTV with PC input and running it. Every other game I have hasn't thrown a fit at all. FC2 refuses to load the engine. Neither does Black Shark or A10C. I can get into menus in SP, the minute I try and do a quick start or even view a track, crash. I can't even start MP because it loads the engine first I believe. Same result. I have no idea why my system suddenly wants to do this. I can only link it to a recent windows update. Other games seem to work just dandy.DxDiag.txt
FVMAD Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 I can get into menus in SP, the minute I try and do a quick start or even view a track, crash. This sequence misses "go into game settings and change video settings for simulation mode" step.
Eihort Posted May 14, 2011 Author Posted May 14, 2011 Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah.... /headdesk Went in, redefined the screen resolution for the new monitor, and what do you know, it all works. -_-
Mustang Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 (edited) Yeah, sounds to me like you just need to go into your graphics settings in each sim and check the screens resolutions and aspect ratios, make sure they are set for your new screen. edit: aha beat me to it, good job :) Edited May 14, 2011 by Mustang
