Advicepuppy Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 My APU is on, generating power, etc. Everything is ready for me to start up the plane which is done by moving the throttles from OFF to Idle. That's all nice and stuff, but if I move my throttles (just one of them, or both) the throttles ingame do not move. I'm not sure what to do here. I don't want to use the RIGHT WIN+Home anymore
Xtrit Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Only the TM A10C HOTAS supports this. But maybe its possible to make it by dividing the thottle in 2 or 3 bands. 1 to shut it down (0 to detend%), 1 to launch it(detend to detend + 1%) and 1 normal throttle (detend + 1 to 100%). I don't have my joystick here but I will figure it out in the weekend.
Advicepuppy Posted June 1, 2011 Author Posted June 1, 2011 Well I did what you said and it works, although it's sorta iffy. Because of that, I only have it on mode 2. After I have my engines started (I hate having the detent on only the LEFT throttle) I have to be careful where I put my throttles (I have my break button on mode 2 which I generally use for ground/landing operations.)
S77th-konkussion Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 What happens if you inadvertently retard your throttles too much? Lol.. I think I'd deal with the keyboard for this.. That's just me... [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]

Ugh... It's annoying, but that's why I quickly switch over to mode 1 again. besides, they take some time to shut down os you can see it happening. raise the throttle again and it goes back up.
Scooternutz Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 On my X65 I created bands using a shifted state. When I pressed the shift button, I bumped the throttles up a little to start. When I let go of the shift I can return them to full aft. [sIGPIC]https://drive.google.com/file/d/16rUBmmJR7A3YGZVGPGskxG1XtvulGojJ/view?usp=sharing[/sIGPIC]
Pyroflash Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Unless you are using a TM Warthog, you have to use the RALT/RCTRL+HOME keys to move the throttles from off to idle. I hope this clarified the issue. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
