campaign, want to replay, edited logbook.lua, but data magically reappears?

wanted to restart 2nd hammer mission

(my AA setting was off and I was looking at a slow motion 4fps movie)

 

in .lua

deleted [2] = [4] = [3] = (out of order from previous edits, that DCS rewrites?)

 

but at campaign menu 'Missions Flown" will say higher number

 

and in .lua

the entries 4, 3 magically reappear

 

so what am i missing?
