Anybody else see the A-10C demo at the Olympic Air Show in Olympia, WA this weekend?

I just got back from the Sunday show, where we had a little extra treat... During a (moderately) high-G pull-out the A-10 lost a couple panels right over the runway! It gained altitude and loitered a couple miles to the east while their ground guys went out and retrieved the panels from the grass. I assume the pilot was assessing the damage for a minute or two, then came back and landed. It was a surprising and short end to the demo (which was awesome, up until then).

I'm a bum and didn't get any pictures, but I wanted to send up a note here in case anyone else was there. I'll try and post some links to pictures in the next couple days as they come up. I'm SURE someone got pics or video of the incident.

We couldn't get very close to the plane after it landed, but it looked to me like the panels that fell came from on top of the right wing, just forward of the outboard flaps (but inboard of the ailerons). Hard to tell from the distance. Hopefully pictures will surface soon. I sure hope the pilot didn't over-G the beast. Yikes! Glad nobody was hurt, and not too much metal was bent.

[EDIT] I really should have named this something like "Pieces come off A-10C during demo in Olympia, WA" or something more exciting like that. I found a small conversation about it on another forum, too! Sounds like some of them got photos and a video, but nobody has uploaded them anywhere yet. Here's the post:

Yep, looks like the user "Delta4904" has posted a couple pictures showing the panel that fell off, as well as a glimpse at the damaged wing.

Judging by the lack of replies, I'm guessing no one else from these forums was there yesterday, and that there's not much interest in the incident?

Gah, 404ed for me, too.

Looks like I copy-pasted the link with the ... in there. Oops! Fixed.

But it looks like the A-10 photos got deleted by the moderators. :(

Ah well. I'm sure more pics will turn up, probably on airliners.net in a couple more days.

[EDIT] Not my pics, but there are several posted on flickr:

Here you can see the moment the panel came off. It's visible in the upper right:

The panel on the ground:

Notice the missing panel on the right wing, above the outer flap:

This was before the panel came off. Looks like it's working its way loose here:
