can you crossfire a ddr3 with a ddr5 graphic card? do the graphic cards have to be the same? also does that goes for SLI too? would any of you crossfire a graphic card with a intergrated card on a mother board? would i see good performance? your comments please!

There is/was such thing as X-fire where you could run 2 different cards in CF but even then only certain cards could be matched... I doubt anyone is actually doing this and only thing I've ever herd of is matched video cards... SLI you definitely need exact same cards.

You would never crossfire video card with integrated video on motherboard as this is not possible.

In lot of cases you would see better performance especially for games limited by video card... but this will work well only if both the software and video card driver support CF/SLI and benefit from it.

For DCS some report better FPS with CF/SLI but some also report worse performance compared to single video card.

Don't count that you can run this sim off the motherboard integrated graphics, for some old simple games it might pass but not for FC2, DCS
