I found these two interesting web pages. They are selling ​​instruments for aircraft cockpits and several components. These instruments are extracted from planes are to be scrapped.

I looked more websites of USA who also sell these instruments to cockpits, but not sent outside the U.S.. I imagine it will be for security or patents. It's something I'm not sure.

They won't sell to outside the US because it would be a felony violation of ITAR laws, International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Even though they are just instruments they still fall under the regulations due to their military usage. A lot of backroom or loophole sales to Europe happen on these instruments or other components, by people who either don't know, don't care, or just take chances anyway. It is not unheard of for there to be arrests regards to this either.

What till you see the prices :( plus most items are civilian

 

I have been in contact with them and if they have military instruments. If you want Deadman you can do the same and so you check it.:pilotfly::thumbup:

Ah, i forgot it, you have to send them the reference number of the instrument you want.

I have contacted them no reply as of yet. I provided the correct indicator name part # and NSN probably another dead end:huh:

CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

Rebuild and new aircraft worthy part will be way to expensive

 

I have done a quick check on the sit you provided www.preferredairparts.com

With the correct Part numbers for the engine indicators they don't have any in stock
