The original poster wants to be able to trim with and axis even if the aircraft has electric trim. Hence the statement "Don"t see any rape of this simu soul." If he has the hardware to use trim axis. I don't see what it could hurt. Frost is right Trim is an ON/OFF switch.

See while I get that the trim is a switch in the real A/C the fact of the matter is the majority of current joysticks have axis available for this task so it is kind of an annoyance for those of us that cant afford a Warthog.

I'm having a hard time understanding how, if you have a joystick that was made since at least the early 2000s, that you can't just use the hat switch that's on every single one.
