Divide Et Impera Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 We all know that its a Hardcore simulation , but it would be very useful to set an axis for each trim, i dont see any rape of this simu soul by doing this : for the most , joysticks got axis for trim , Like g940 for example [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic86251_7.gif[/sIGPIC]
Zakatak Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 i dont see any rape of this simu soul by doing this What? Anyway, I think I agree. If he said something about letting me use my rotaries for trim, yes.
S77th-konkussion Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 We all know that its a Hardcore simulation , but it would be very useful to set an axis for each trim, i dont see any rape of this simu soul by doing this : for the most , joysticks got axis for trim , Like g940 for example Military aircraft use an electrical switch for trim- not a primary control axis. Frostiken Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 I think the switch is proportional though. Trim changes faster the more you displace the hat. No. Trim is an on/off affair. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Krebs20 Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 The original poster wants to be able to trim with and axis even if the aircraft has electric trim. Hence the statement "Don"t see any rape of this simu soul." If he has the hardware to use trim axis. I don't see what it could hurt. Frost is right Trim is an ON/OFF switch. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
shu77 Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 See while I get that the trim is a switch in the real A/C the fact of the matter is the majority of current joysticks have axis available for this task so it is kind of an annoyance for those of us that cant afford a Warthog. Hornet, Super Carrier, Warthog & (II), Mustang, Spitfire, Albatross, Sabre, Combined Arms, FC3, Nevada, Gulf, Normandy, Syria AH-6J i9 10900K @ 5.0GHz, Gigabyte Z490 Vision G, Cooler Master ML120L, Gigabyte RTX3080 OC Gaming 10Gb, 64GB RAM, Reverb G2 @ 2480x2428, TM Warthog, Saitek pedals & throttle, DIY collective, TrackIR4, Cougar MFDs, vx3276-2k Combat Wombat's Airfield & Enroute Maps and Planning Tools
Divide Et Impera Posted July 23, 2011 Author Posted July 23, 2011 And we could still keep the two options available : on/off commands for TM warthog , and same but with axis for other users [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic86251_7.gif[/sIGPIC]
Frostiken Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 I'm having a hard time understanding how, if you have a joystick that was made since at least the early 2000s, that you can't just use the hat switch that's on every single one. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Divide Et Impera Posted July 26, 2011 Author Posted July 26, 2011 Because as you may know , dcs needs all my joystick buttons. And there is no Space left .. ( i dont have track IR yet ) [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic86251_7.gif[/sIGPIC]
