LawnDart Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I'm thinking about getting a TIR 5. I currently have a TIR 4. For anyone who's had both, is it worth the upgrade (smoothness, precision etc.)? LawnDart Posted July 24, 2011 Author Posted July 24, 2011 No technical specifications on the homepage regards differences? Oh, there's plenty... The specs are very clear and on Naturalpoint's website, I'm just looking for user feedback on how big the difference really is. Cali Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I've had both and T5 is way better then T4. Less re-centering, more precise. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
PoleCat Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I agree with Cali. There is a noticable improvement in the 5 over the 4. Out http://www.104thphoenix.com/
MackTheKnight Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I recently upgraded from tir 4 to 5 and I love the improvement. I Was having trouble with 4 losing track due to it being placed atop my 40" LCD. That's not an issue with trackir 5.
