I've been patient, really I have. Ive seen pictures of the TM pieces post project, but not one youtube video.

I want to change the lube in mine, but I'm nervous. I think maybe there's some tension in there somewhere, I don't want to be on the last thread of the last screw and have the thing explode on me.

So if anyone knows of such a video, or detailed guide I would greatly appreciate a link.

Or if one of you are getting ready to do the deed if you would please, document it for posterity.

Oh and please be careful when you reassemble as the small wires can be pinched quite easily.

Yes thats a pretty good guide, thank you very much. I have a few questions though, I see the spring poking out of the base assembly by about an inch, so is there a way to keep it from popping out? Is there a risk of ballistic spring?

That's what I'm worried about

Just hold the alloy plate down while removing the screws. It's not overly strong. I held mine with one hand whilst removing the screws with the other.
