Aerodynamics Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 (edited) I used to use FRAPS, but after getting BandiCam .. i finally know what a good screen-capturing software is. You can import the Lagarith (or any other codec) into the app. http://www.bandicam.com/support/tips/best-codec http://www.bandicam.com/support/tips/external-codec/ I usually do MPEG-1 VBR 100% + PCM 48kHz (for Sony Vegas). This creates much smaler file sizes than FRAPS and the raw is still excellent enough for editings later on. My favorite is x264 though... http://www.bandicam.com/faqs/vfw-x264-xvid-divx-h264-codec/ Note: As Sony Vegas is not capable of processing H.264 codec recorded files (highly recommended, because of speed and size with CUDA ie. - and youtube "likes" it too), one needs to install that codec onto the machine additionally - Sony Vegas will then automatically load and "understand" it.
