Sleem Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Since changing to 1109 I've been unable to connect back to my server remotely without causing A10 to crash. This is a fairly high end rack server which works great for everything else. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there is a gfx setting or something I can change to stop it. (I may have inadvertently changed something in the install of 1109.) The logs talk about edge rendering access violation or something IIRC. Any ideas?
automag928 Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 I can tell you that on my pc I have previously been able to have a RDP session going and alt-tab to it while playing DCS. This morning I tried and DCS crashed...I only did it in multiplayer, I was able to play single and alt-tab just fine back to my RDP session.
Sleem Posted July 27, 2011 Author Posted July 27, 2011 The first remote session with RealVNC is fine and I can set A10 going and monitor it. Once disconnected A10 dies when I then try to set up a new remote session. Interestingly RemoteDesktop has never worked for me to even get A10 running successfully.
PoleCat Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 (edited) We use UltraVNC without issue for remote admin to the 104th FC2 and DCS series servers. Works OK. Edit: After installing 1.1.0.9 fresh. I am having a similar issue where if I try to connect to the server while it is running A10-C using uvnc the game graphics are corrupted and the game crashes...investigating... Edit: Working now problem was UVNC not A10-C. Out Edited July 30, 2011 by PoleCat http://www.104thphoenix.com/
Sleem Posted August 2, 2011 Author Posted August 2, 2011 I think I have this sorted out now. Have disabled the mirror driver and seems ok so far.
