I think you mean 130 knots, which would be over 200 km/h. Not sure if 200 km/h was actually a real figure or more of a guess though.

 HAHAHA....Yes thats what i ment.... thanks for the correction.

I looked up and I guess I misremembered the 300m altitude limit and "Ka-50 exempt" as some sort of speed limit.

There needs to be some sort of speed limit though. A 50kmph bridge strike isn't going to harm the airframe like a 600 knot strike.

Lol. True but I'm thinking any bridge strike will mess things up pretty badly :D

The models is a bit simplistic as is, yes, (strictly a probability), but a bird through an engine isn't ever good. Different engines cope with it varyingly good, but...

(Not an F-16 whatever the video title says, but...)

A bird through the engine should always be treated as a severe emergency. And while it might be "nice" to get more precise modeling of birdstrike effects, it's not exactly an easy thing to get data on, and I'd suspect that it's not exactly easy to plug it into the simulation of the engines either.

A speed limit would be too arbitrary, however.

Yeah, it was a Hawk... I found a newspaper article about it somewhere in the interwebs... I will see If I can dig it out for you.
