A-10C HOTAS Fundamentals Where do these files go?

Recently I saw these files posted from this topic, but theres no readme or default unzip location these file prompt to install in.

I tryed dumping the files into the Training Directory in the ED directory but no no avail they didint work.

 

Can anyone here post up some steps or give me an I dea of where these files go from the zip in that topic?

Navigate to /Training/en/Aircraft Operation/ - create new folder, name it "5" - unzip the mission file into the new folder.

Nope that didnt worky,

 

There are about 29 files with an *.ogg extension for audio and 2 other files one called "Mission" and the other called "option" neither of the last 2 have a file extension. :helpsmilie:

E:\A10 DCS\DCS A-10C\Missions\Multiplayer\Missions I think thts the place if not E then where ever u installed the sim.Just the .miz go's in the file

Slambo, the file you download should be a .miz file. This a ready-to-play mission file. It does not need to be unzipped any further. You should download this single file and drop it to any directory of your choosing. You can then open it as a single mission using the Mission menu or the Mission Editor.

I've seen several reports that some browsers, it appears to be mainly Internet Explorer, actually ends up automatically renaming the .miz downloads into .zip.

 

I'll add this to the FAQ since it's been coming up a lot now.

It must be an IE issue, I need to quit being lazy and go back to FF, but thats a great tutorial thanks ED :thumbup:
