pitbldr Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 I have my indicators dimensioned at .97x.35, but since I am using a laser, the kerf reduces that size by around .05. Sames goes for the dimensions I listed in your other thread. The laser cuts right along the line, whereas a CNC will cut on the inside or outside of the line. Also, you'll need to know what kind of tolerances the CNC has (runout, repeatbility, etc.) and adjust your dimensions according. Unless you are trying to achieve 100% accuracy to the real panel, just dimension it to meet your needs. :)

pitbldr Posted September 27, 2016 Author Posted September 27, 2016 Hey Patriot, I rarely visit the site these days as all my pit-building is on hold until the Hornet is released. I can dig this panel out and get the measurements for you though. Would you prefer them from the real panel or from the panel I made? Give me a couple days to find where I packed this up and I'll get back to you. 1

ClayM Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 pitbldr Thanks very much for the info! Bad news for me. Looks like I made my indicators too high so my panel is one unit too high! Looks like its back to the drawing board...... Thanks again for dimensions! Clay 1

pitbldr Posted October 21, 2016 Author Posted October 21, 2016 It is probably just the camera angle, but I will verify.
