acdarc Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Hi, I have an odd problem with DCS: A-10C input. When I'm flying normally either a mission or training, and when I try to climb/dive and pull/push the stick all the way, the plane won't respond. When I look at the virtual stick in the cockpit, it returns to the middle when my joystick is pushed/pulled far enough. X-axis works normally. I've tried different joysticks, and the problem persists. I've checked the calibration program and it shows the axis correctly. When I move the joystick, the calibration cross shows it as it should be. I've tried to add deadzones from the profiler but it doesn't help. If I move the joystick just slightly, the plane responds correctly, but the instant I move it way up or down, the plane stops diving or climbing and the virtual stick moves back to the centre until I slightly move the joystick back a bit. Is this a game feature/safety (and how do I turn it off) or what the heck is going on or am I just stupid. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Sarge55 Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Check to see if the same axis is assigned to another device, like your rudders if you have them. It sounds like it's doubled up and the other device is affecting it. Thank you very much :).
