English Speaking Betty in Version 1.0.2

Hi,

 

Yesterday, I was in Multiplayer, FC2, the 104th Phoenix server, flying the Black Shark with some Australian buddies. My 1st initial sortie on everything spoke English. I was on a UK squad and my Options (as always) were set to English.

 

But, on repeat sorties, everything, my pilot, tower and Betty was back to Russian. I still crash a fair amount, just flying.

I, eventually, went to the Users mods, to Home, to ED, to download the larger of the two English speaking "Betty" files.

 

File Name: DTWDcns_Basic_zrMake_my_god-damn_game_speak_Englishxc_MOD_-_Russian_Accents_+_Betty.rar

 

So what do I do with this file to get it to work properly?

 

Is it strictly for Multiplayer mode in Flaming Cliffs 2?

 

I know nothing of using ModMan except playing with it the last couple of days. And doing it wrong!

(I did put version 1.0.1c onto a separate, multiboot, hard drive to have access to the tutorials, but it is still the same operating system of Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit. That is in English.)

in patch 1.0.2 the betty was design for it to be in russian! when using the english mods make sure you are using the right modman version!!! get the lasted modman version from cheque 6(a french site) go to lockonfiles.com and look for files also. i always use the turkish ka-50's they use english in betty,but most servers use russian. train in the 1.01c version until you master the ka-50 and then go to the 1.0.2. i use the russian betty for realisum.
