EtherealN Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 For me it is the labels. I get crazy when a button has a label that does not correspond to its function. (which is the reason I still havben't added labels to my G940 although it provides a nice way to change labels) I'm pretty sure other people don't have that problem, though. So technically the TM Warthog is not specialised, but it looks so. :) Well, you are always free to just ignore all the switches on the throttle and then you'll still have more switches and buttons and hats than any other HOTAS. :P (and of course, a lot of those switches on the Engine and Laste panels do apply to a lot of other simulators as well. APU, ignitors, fuel flow... all of it applies pretty nicely to the Ka-50 for example. ;) And of course, the Flaps controller applies to a tonne of other simulators without issue. The one issue I could see is that it might be uncomfortable to do the lifter switch depending on whether you want IDLE/off detent or an AB detent. For me, I've just gotten used to where it is as normal, I love being able to shut the engines down with their throttle handle for emergency procedures. Matt, black one :) If it can deal with such a moronic idea it can deal with labels as well.
