uryiel777 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 hey everyone. ive downloaded some of the training missions in the user files area, for example:BFT07-Aerobatics. i made a new folder and named them the subsequent numbers after the ones already there. i put the miz files in: dcs a-10c/training/en/aircraft operation/ whatever folder i created with the numbers. I'm not seeing them in the sim under training. Am i doing something wrong or do i need to look somewhere else? thanks all.
Evil.Bonsai Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I believe the 'training' is what DCS setup for it's own missions. You could try going to either 'missions' or 'mission editor' and seeing if they show up. You should also be able to browse to wherever you saved them. This is one thing I've found a bit confusing in DCS. Missions seemed to be a bit scattered and takes a bit of effort to organize. For instance, I have all 'my documents' on d: but for some reason DCS keeps saving missions and tracks on c:.../users
cichlidfan Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 You can put any missions you want to add in one of two places if you want to find them easily. Within the game folder is a missons folder. You can put them there but they will be mixed in with what came with the game (regular missions not training). You can also put them in your C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Missions folder. In the second case when you go to the missions menu, under the pulldown you will see a selection called My Missions. Under there is everything that is in your Missions folder in Saved Games. You can create subfolders there if you like to keep things organized. Hope that helps.
