Hello, you have installed the Dx9 too?.

When you are installing the BS, also installed the DX9 version of the same BS.

Maybe that's it.

i have a dx11 enabled card, i got new AMD drivers today. i did let it install the dx version anyway but i dont think that should be the problem unless ime mistaken

The BS works only with Dx9, your operating system already installed the DX11, but apart from that you must also install the Dx9, so that any software programmed in Dx9 works.

I had this problem. You are able to get into the game aren't you? In the end I uninstalled 1.02. Did a new install, downloaded a new 1.02 and applied to new install, works fine now. You have to uninstall 1.02 first though and have a second install.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

Hey guys just did a fresh install there again.

From version 1.0. I ran a fresh copy of 1.0.2 seems to install correctly.

same message comes up and also when i try and go into options menu it displays options error message and kicks me back to the main screen.

any clues??

should i just install an earlier version 1.1C or something?

Sorry I didn't make myself clear here. fixing this problem in steps below:

Starting from having 1.02 installed and getting the error message:

Remember where the original icons where or you're going to have trouble.

Uninstall 1.02. Go to the Ka-50 root folder and run Unins000.exe.

DO NOT UNINSTALL THE GAME ITSELF. Don't Touch Uninstall .exe

Create a new folder called Ka-50 (2) or something similar.

Next put the disc in and navigate to it in My computer, double click on setup.exe Tell it to install in Ka-50 (2)

Wait for this to install.

Then run start running 1.02 install. You may want to download a new one, I'm not sure if this is required.

When It says where do you want to install it too. (at the beginning by the way) Select Ka-50(2). If you had not uninstalled 1.02 earlier it would tell you are 1.02 is already installed.

Allow 1.02 to run. When done you will have the two DCS Black Shark and two Black Shark Multiplayer icons on your desktop. Rename the new ones to something like DCS Black Shark v2. Run the Game and it should work for you. It did for me but I've never tested.

Good luck

I remember in version 1.0.1, an error occurred when entering the options, and was for some of the location of the pc, (language, currency and so on).

But then sorted in the patch 1.0.1b, then it may be error patches.

You must ensure that the patch is downloaded the 1.0.2.

For example, DCS Black Shark (English version) and 1.0.2 patch for the English version.

Perhaps one installed in clean, erasing earlier registration and folders.

Install BS, and then Patch 1.0.2, not install other patch, only DCS Black Shark, and V1.0.2. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=54012

I'm seeing here in the ED support forum that another solution can be found.

Edit: May be help, post a Crashfile, http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=34768
