Stubbostubbs Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I have an Antec Gigabyte running Win 7. Had a minor problem and ended up reinstalling the game. game installs and then runs ok up to the "Press Pause/Break" to start the game. press the key..........NOTHING. lovely graphic of my a/c from 3rd person point of view, complete with spinning waypoint circle in the distance, but it will not start the game. I have a wireless Logitech board and mouse which used to work fine. i suspected that this might be the problem (though had no probs running it in the past). RTepleced with a USB keyboard. same problem. Fire up DCS Warthog A10 which runs up the same. Pause/break works ok with this game. ANYONE, HELP mwaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Love the game (used to) !! :helpsmilie:
PoleCat Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 (edited) Try uninstalling again and make sure to delete all left over Ka-50 folders. AFAIK otherwise your old input folder is left over from the previous install which may be causing your issue. I hope this is helpful. Stubbostubbs Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 AFAIK meant nothing to me. What was that all about (be gentle, I am 54!)..Ive gone through my hard drive and cant find any more references to DCS Black Shark. Is there a specific file that could be hiding away somewhere that I should delete? Cheers anyway.
ZoomBoy27 Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Can you go into the Options Controls and RE-MAP the END MISSION Key? Test it and then maybe re-map it back again ZoomBoy My Flight Sims Page - Link to My Blog - Sims and Things - DCS Stuff++ - Up-to-Speed Guides to the old Lockon A10A and Su-25T - Some missions [needs update]
PoleCat Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 AFAIK = as far as I know. Folder should be located here I think. I do not think it is removed at uninstall. C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50 Out http://www.104thphoenix.com/
StarHopper Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 You might have to hit function - pause or function - break to get it to work. Its that way on my laptop.
