Blurry text topic again...

Hi all

 

Here is a question thats already been on the forum, I have read all the topics I can find about this but I can´t get it solved...:(

I have blurry left and right consoles, the front panel is ok, clear and nice. The game looks nice and runs nice on high settings, it´s just the consoles in cockpit.

 

In previous versions of CCC there was an Mipmap option but that was removed for some time ago. I tried to install Ati Tray Tool where the mipmap option comes to life again, but my windows gets crazy and won´t let me run the program even with UAC off and insalled as admin :mad:

I have tried alot of diffrent settings in game and in CCC and my current settings are:

 

In game:

Textures - High

Scenes - High

Civ traffic - Off

Water - High

Visib Range - High

Heat blur - On

Shadows - High

Res - 1920x1080

Aspect 16:9

Monitors - 1 screen

Res. of cockpit - 1024 every frame

Msaa 16xQ

HDR - Warm

Vsync - Checked

Full screen - Checked

Cockpit Shadows - Checked

TSSAA - Checked

 

CCC

AA - use application settings

AF - use application settings

Tess - use application settings

Cat.Ai Texture filtering - High with checked box

Vertical refresh - Off

AA mode - Performance

OpenGL - Unchecked

I have tried a lot of diffrent settings in CCC and in game.

 

My system:

win 7 64

i5 750 OC3.2

8GB ram

ATI 6950 2GB - CCC 11.8

HDD 7200rpm

 

I really hope someone can help me with this, I love the game and the last touch would be readeble text in consoles, right now i´m flipping switches and guessing with no good results. Atleast I know how to start the engines...

thats the thing, there are no mipmap option in CCC 11.8

 

That was my first though and thats why I tryed to install Ati Tray Tool. And texture options are set to high.

I had the same problem, and ended up getting rid of CCC.

I have 11.8 and i have mipmap quality settings using the tray tool.

thanks for replays.

 

I can´t install Tray Tool, Windows tells me after installation that some low driver or something couldn´t install and that I need to turn off UAC and install as admin, I´ve done that but the installation fails anyway.

 

Is there no other solution?

Problem solved. I had a friend over and he fixed it somehow. He Said he made a forced install of the tray tool. I dont know but now its working, crystal clear cockpit. Thanks for replays. /Sumerion
