What is the default skin's resolution

I notice some skins out there... and they say.. 1024.1024 or

2048x2048....

 

I know a higher res skin will cause fps problems.. but am curious of the

default skin resolutions...(1.1)

The default texture resolution changes by which aircraft you choose. Extract the original textures from the CDDS files and you will see. Read Doc\EditingTextures.txt for the instruction.
