LcSummers Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Hi all, it was a long time ago when posted a thread here. It was because i tried to understand A-10C but there was a kind of stagnation, didnt know why. Now as i have the HOTAS keyboard meanings and read a lot i am fascinated. For me its the best sim. I made my first landing without any damage, slowly but surley i understand UFC and a little bit CDU. I do understand ATCs and so on. Great job. Its an addiction now and i am eager to master everything in the future. Thanks to dev team and any other virtual pilot who made any efforts and tutorials for beginners.:smilewink: LC 2
Bulletstop Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 It is an amazing sim. Glad you are enjoying the learning curve, for some it is really difficult. Bullet I7 4790K running at 4390 with a gigabyte board with 16 gigs of ram with an Asus gtx 660-ti and 2 tb of hard drive space on 2 wd hard drives. A X-65F Hotas with trackir4 and pro combat peddles. A kick butt home built machine unfortunately running a windows 7 OS.
LcSummers Posted October 21, 2011 Author Posted October 21, 2011 Thanks buddy, yes it it and was hard to learn but with some success you really want to go on. Waiting for the book and for Nevada map. Cheers LC
B1Helios Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 I've learned that most times, anything worthwhile requires alot of monkey work in the beginning. Admittedly with the DCS products (including FC2), I found alot of initial frustration. Not only in learning the sims, but configuring all the commands. The more I learn, the more I am beginning to enjoy them! ;) Also flying with others makes a huge difference hands down.

LcSummers Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 I was a big fan of the A-10 since my childhood. I bought FC2 only because there was the A-10. Now i have the modern A-10C. I really love it. A cool cockpit, a nicely detailed pilot and weapons and most important, the devs giving us patches. This sim is getting better and better with every patch released. Cant wait for the CBU 97 too:thumbup: Now i have to go and learn much more!! S!!!!!!:pilotfly:
