Bimbac Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 (edited) Hello, I have a following problem with DCS Ka-50 Russian Download edition. Two days ago, when I start a simulation I get a message from protect.exe that Black Shark needs to be activated again. When I try, I'm getting following message: Unable to run the application due to integrity fault of the Activation Key. Re-enter a valid Activation Key or re-activate the application. If the error recurs, press "Error report" and send the report to product technical support. I am unable to activate, deactivate or play. Is there any way to fix this? I have attached the error report file generated by Protect program. I'd like to add that A-10C is working normally. Bimbac Posted October 28, 2011 Author Posted October 28, 2011 I have missed the information in ED Wiki. I have updated computer BIOS and installed Oracle VMware. Unfortunately, I have spent my last activation trying to solve the problem before I got familiar with this known issue. Could you please help me out or should I wait 30 days for a renewed activation? Also I found the following info posted (somewhere on the website): "Please notice, open beta of Black Shark 2 module is of standalone version. Serial numbers of upgrade version don't fit it. Module of Black Shark 2 upgrade version will be released in an independent distributive after release of the final versions of the modules." I have the upgrade version so this could be the issue! You will find the latest Ka-50 Upgrade module here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=13&end_pos=136&lang=en If you have the wrong version installed, simply delete Ka-50 folder from .\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\ and then install using the Upgrade installer. eyusuf Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Thanks Comrade! Downloading the latest software sorted it. But after running all the reg entries (and messing about with the registries)... I now only have one activation left on Black Shark 1. I suppose this should be enough with everything moving to Black Shark 2. Anyway thanks a ton for the assistance I'm off to fly some Black Shark!!!
