Harke Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 (edited) As you can see in this screen, BS2 don't use more than 70% of my CPU and I have 20-30% of CPU idle, but I only have 20-30 fps and sometime less than 15 fps. cpu: core 2 duo E6600 @3 Ghz ram: 4 go DDR2 1066mhz gpu: HD 6950 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18616128/DxDiag.txt Edited November 7, 2011 by Harke Add DxDiag.txt
RedX Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 My quick guess is that the sim engine is running on one of the two CPU cores you have. Thus the second core has some free time every now and then after handling the rest of the stuff the windows is running and the total percentage is below 100%. Nothing to worry about, the sim is using as much resources as it can. Quirkitized Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 This isn't really CPU related, but I noticed you are running window mode...why? Try fullscreen, good chance you'll get better performance.
WindWpn Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 try the "alt-tab" trick! The Rig: i5 7700k OC 4.6ghz, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1080ti, Windows 10 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
