BS2+A10 mission for two A-10's and up to four Sharks CO-OP. Night mission in which you attack an enemy FARP. The A-10's take out four Osa units fairly near the base and the bunkers as well as dropping Illumination flares for the sharks. The sharks pop up from their hold point and take out enemy vehicles and infantry (+ the watchtowers which are actually armed even if the model doesn't show it) and then the host needs to use F-10 to call springfield black hawks in to secure the base. They will later be picked up by ground convoy. Ka-50's take off from FARP at Gori. A-10's take off from Soganlug. Read the briefing. Please give plenty of feedback.

UPDATE: Waiting for admin to check it at User Files. New updated version, extra unrelated AI for a better environment. You now actualy have four A-10's rather than the three you had previously, (same prob with the sharks has now been fixed) as well as two new versions added, Evening version which should be easier and when you fancy a challenge a bad weather version taking place at night.

Another update (last one). Nothing much new except included slmod versions meaning the clients can call the Black Hawks and ground convoy rather than the host using the F10 menu. Only the host has to install Slmod (which is why it's great). Also there are messages for Bulldog 3 and springfield when they depart hold points.

Sorry if I'm OT (ashamed), but does anyone else feel claustrofobic in night missions? :(

 

I have tried this mission, but as I said - I had to leave... I like clear sunny day and summer textures:thumbup:

 

I don't get this as I enjoy only being able to see through the goggles, I find it fun. It's easy to adjust it though just open it in the editor and change the start time in the briefing.

Got your mission put on my squad's roster for monday night. All 4 A10 and 4 Ka50 slots are filled. I worry if there will there be enough "food" for all the sharks and warthogs?

 

Hopefully, if in doubt change the A-10's payload from CBU's to GBU's.

OK Jona33. Debrief time.

The mission didn't go so well and it's a pity since everybody was quite excited about it.

First, some A10 and Ka50 were set as 'take off from ramp', some 'take off from runway' and some were even in flight. In squad MP we all want to start cold and dark (take off from ramp).

There was also a Ka50 still set as player, about 30km away from the airport.....One of our pilot could only take the player one and ended up in flight with no weapons at all.

The second major problem that forced us to cancel the mission is that you used the "Mission Planner" during your mission testing that triggered a known bug with the A10C, i.e it was impossible to enter the weapon loading in their DTS. So the weapons were actually loaded under the wings, but since the system didn't know what was loaded, it was impossible to fire them.

So no chance to fly your mission.

Ok that sucks. I'll take another look at this mission and take it down from the website for now. Thinking about it though I'm sure I didn't use the mission planner. I certainly can't remember using it.

 

Right all the problems you wrote in your post should now be fixed. I'll get testing it. I might screw the slmod versions for now. Update on the DSMS problem. I can't replicate it my end. All A-10s working fine. Are you sure you clicked Load all and they did load. Alternatively you can reload the DSMS. Hold down one of the MFD buttons at the bottom and then select load from the side and replace the DSMS page. Then click to open the load page. From there reload the DSMS or Load all.
