Hey folks.

I just looked for "pave penny" in the manual and there is pretty much no information on how to deploy this system.

Thus my question - how to use it? How to set it up to catch laser energy? Do I have to look directly at the target zone or is it flexible? Will I see the mark on the HUD?

Anything you know - gimme! :D

Thanks a lot in advance.

In the A-10C the Pave Penny's functions have been replaced by the TGP. The controls for it are not implimented in the sim.

Aww maaaaaaaan! :(

Although Pave Penny functions have largely been replaced in modern A-10s by the targeting pod, the

system and capability remain.

Page 24 of the flight manual. :( It's just describing the over all A-10C and not the simulation but... Still. :( I like to play with old stuff, hahaha.

We don't use it real world anymore, some hints are even removing the pylon

I assume you meant units?;)

That would look good. I have never seen a pic of a hog without it!
