X-Plane 10 Carriers

Just want to give ED some inspiration; kind of amazing that a civilian sim has aircraft carriers that look this incredible.

The X-Plane 10 terrain is actually vastly improved from X-Plane 9 (at least in screenshots, that's all I've seen of it so far).

Hope there's some actual 3d pits though; those 2d build-a-panel things are atrocious.

The X-Plane 10 terrain is actually vastly improved from X-Plane 9 (at least in screenshots, that's all I've seen of it so far).

 

After flying over the landscape in good FSX add-ons not to mention DCS A-10/BS2 or ROF or even IL2:COD, and comparing it to the XP10 demo (product release in less than two weeks). I am thoroughly unimpressed if this represents the product that will ship.

 

EDIT: Not all the pits in the demo are 3D either.

I agree, the 2d panels are horrible, and of course they are still there in XP10, there are 3d pits too though.

 

The scenery is the best in the series, by far, but I still think it looks outdated and not very realistic..
