here is my first mission which actually reaches the ED forum.

For hosting this mission correctly slmodbeta5_2 is needed.

Be aware that a lot of responsibility is in the hands of the pilot.

 

Although the mission is not at its final state yet, there are several tasks for more than 5hours of flying.

-yes- i said "flying" not explicit shooting... so u need more fuel than weapons (especially with the tankers CTDs)... keep that in mind :-)

 

on the roadmap are some offensive tasks deep in russian territory and of course some voiceover on lots of the textmessages.

Good morning A10C Pilots

 

We are stationed in Senaki and will assist the Georgian military in securing theire borders to Russia.

 

We are new to this region so the Georgian government granted us a little training range at Mukhrani with some russian vehicles.

 

As soon we are familiar with the terrain and weather circumstances we will go on with our actual task - borderpatrol.

 

Therefor we programmed Initial points in your CDU database wich are accessable at all times of the mission.

So you are free AND responsible in programming your own flightplans.

 

These Initialpoints are as following:

 

Senaki landingpattern points lefthand(assuming 09 as active rwy)

EDSEL, ADDER, BANKS, CHEVY, DODGE, EDSEL

 

Straight approach:

App95, ILS95, EDSEL(touchdown)

 

Midair refueling areas around:

TEXACO at Alt 17k

SHELL at Alt 17k

 

Targetrange Mukhrani:

Mukhrani,

Orbitpoints O1 - O4,

Ingresspoints I1 - I4,

Killbox K1 - K4

 

WESTPATROL:

W1 - W8

 

EASTPATROL:

E1 - E8

 

ABCHASIJANPATROL:

AB1 to AB4 W8 to W3 AB2 AB1

 

Divert Airports with service:

Sukhumi, Gudauta, Kobuletti, Kutaisi, Tbilisi, Vaziani

 

Frequencies:

AWACS Overlord: AM 135 Mhz

Tanker Texaco: AM 140 Mhz, Tacan 14x

Tanker Shell: 150 Mhz, Tacan 15x

Good morning Ka-50 pilots

 

We have some reconnaissance flight to do.

You are stationed at farp Moscow or Warsaw.

Fly to your preprogrammed IP points and get me some Information over KVOMO HVTSE. we heard rumours of russian movements near this small village.

 

Be prepared ... the situation is very tensed.

 

You may get more Information later in the mission.

This mission is using slmodbeta5_2 which enables the player to "communicate" with the mission using the MPchat.

Commands are:

-stl for "show task list"

-stx for the "different tasks" where x is the tasknumber

NxxxxE0xxxx for coordinates on "missioninteresting areas", where x are the LL coordinates in degeers and minutes (no seconds required)

 

After you read the welcome message you can type either westpatrol ; abchasijapatrol or eastpatrol in chat to activate the different missions.

 

ONCE THE MISSION IS ACTIVATED you can look up more information through the task list

 

All in all there are 13 loactions to be found in the described regions.

KA-50 KVOMO HVTSE

 

We are here to ensure the peace in the troubled South Ossetian region.

Despite that, we heard of russian activities near Kvomo Hvtse.

 

ENFIELD and UZI flights:

You are tasked to fly to your IP points and observe the small village of Kvomo.

 

The Georgian government has a zero tolerance politic against russian troops near Tskhinvali.

If you have contact to any russian force more than a single UAZ, you are cleared to engage enemy forces on sight.

 

Be prepared for heavy SAM AAA an CAS flight of the RAF.

A10C WESTPATROL

 

Fly the waypoints W1 to W8 and observe the area north of the border.

DO NOT ENTER RUSSIAN AIRSPACE... it is considered a hostile act !

Report any suspiciuos contact with theire coordinates.

 

We have no coalition CAP as well as no SEAD flights in this area, so stay out of trouble and keep in mind that we are here only for assistance.

We are not authorised to enter Russian airspace.

We are not authorised to attack russian vehicles in the abchasija region without beeing attacked.

 

*** get a sensor on any mission important target, and type its coordinates into the MPchatwindow.

Do it like this: "NxxxxE0xxxx" (without the "")

Assuming the "N" for Latitude and the"xxxx" for the degrees and minutes (no seconds necessary).

the same for "E" -> Longitude ("0" is a required input for the CDU) and "xxxx" are the coordinates in degrees and minutes (no seconds necessary). ***

A10C EASTPATROL

 

Fly waypoints E1 - E8 to make yourself familiar with the region and the weather conditions.

Try midair refueling or head over to the targerange near Mukhrani.

as long as you dont cross the border there "SHOULD" be no problem BUT keep in mind that you are flying over a troubled region.

Russia likes to see the South Ossetian region in theire hands.

Dont feel save.

Create a flightplan with the waypoints AB1 AB2 AB3 AB4 W8 W7 W6 W5 W4 W3 AB2 AB1.

We are not authorised to attack russian vehicles in the abchasija region without beeing attacked.

 

get information over the tasksystem after activating the abchasijapatrol over the MPchat.
