rjsagel Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Hello, What is the difference between the game mode and the sim mode? Thanks in advance, Ron Sagel
PoleCat Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 (edited) Sim mode is more realistic controls, systems and weaponry, game mode is not and is for beginners, little babies and sissies. :D Just kidding of course. If simulation mode is not to your liking or feels too difficult etc then game mode is just the ticket for some good fun without all the learning. Jona33 Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 sim mode is realisitc controls, systems and weaponry, game mode is for sissies. Or those who don't have much time. (but mainly sissies. :D Joke.) With the Sim everything that the Ka-50 does in RL is replicated (the cabin ventilation is sadly non functional) and basically why I like this game. It also takes longer to learn. Much longer. Game mode is a bit closer to HAWX style but if you want easy gameplay I'd guess, (GUESS) that would prefer the graphics of that kind of game. The BS2 graphics are pretty bloody awesome though. Most servers multiplayer do run sim mode with labels being the compromise generally (only on a few servers though. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
rjsagel Posted December 22, 2011 Author Posted December 22, 2011 Thank you, I'll train with the GAME and then switch to the SIM. Cheers. Ron Sagel
Jona33 Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Yeah you can do that. I wouldn't bother with Game avionics as they'll just make it harder when you come to the sim. I suggest to use game flight mode to learn the avionics and then try full sim. Using Labels is OK if you struggle to find targets. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
