dbw Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 My system is I7-960 (3.33), 12 gigs ram, ssd for the o/s and have BS, A10 & FC on a raptor, nvidia 580gtx - 1.5 gig. I have everything on, turned up etc and all are totally fluid, smooth. If the budget permits get the 580. I upgraded this system from a I7-920 and nvidia gtx 285 last summer as the prices on things was coming down not that it was really needed. I gave thought to the I7-9XX six core but didn't believe the cost would produce that much if any more performance. Were I to come across a 990 at a very good price I would grab it.
