hog_driver111th Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 I'm allowed to order some switches for Xmas (only a certain amount) and thought I would order one of these for the landing gear switch. Question is, will 1 be ok or do I need two. I was thinking that by wiring it into the Leo Bodnar card that I could get away with it like an On/Off switch. As I put the handle up (toggle press) it puts the gear up, and as I put the handle down (toggle off) it would send the gear down. Am I correct in that thinking or do I need two of these, one for each command? Gadroc Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Yes you can handle it that way. I'm not sure you can do it directly in DCS, but it's easily accomplished in either Helios or XPadder.
hog_driver111th Posted December 22, 2011 Author Posted December 22, 2011 Thanks Gadroc. I'm planning on doing most of the stuff through Helios anyway. agrasyuk Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 this can be done in DCS too. in the joystick LUA file map the gear up to say "press" command and gear down to "release". Anton. My pit build thread . Simple and cheap UFC project
LeLv30_Superbus Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 I've got a with just one switch like that connected to BU0836 and it works well as long as long as you set the correct state before starting the sim. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Click to view pictures of my deskpit
